Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mickey McFinnigan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Mir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McFinnigan comes into the arena with My Drunken Irish Dad blaring out of the sound system. Mir comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Spoilin For A Fight kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Frank Mir enters the cage!

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McFinnigan lands a jab to Mir's midsection.
McFinnigan connects with an inside leg kick.
Mir lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but McFinnigan circles away quickly and effectively.
Mir scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
McFinnigan connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Mir's hands.
It looks like Frank Mir has been cut.
Mir shoots in and drives through. McFinnigan sprawls well.
McFinnigan lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Mir takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
McFinnigan bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Some wild striking there from McFinnigan.
Mir throws a body punch but McFinnigan moves out of range.
Mir throws a push kick but McFinnigan slaps the foot to one side.
Mir misses the shot to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round.
McFinnigan lands a jab to the head.
Mir swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
An inside leg kick lands from McFinnigan.
McFinnigan checks the leg kick nicely there.
McFinnigan cracks the inside of Mir's front leg.
Mir looks winded!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
McFinnigan scores with a hook.
That has opened up Frank Mir's cut even more.
Mir closes this distance looking for a takedown but McFinnigan circles away.
Mir misses with a lunging right hand
and McFinnigan counters with a thumping low kick.
McFinnigan connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Both fighters circling a little - McFinnigan finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
McFinnigan cracks Mir with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Mir looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can McFinnigan finish him?
Mir is rocked!
McFinnigan bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
McFinnigan scores with a body shot.
Nice body punch from McFinnigan.
Mir steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from McFinnigan. That one must have hurt.
Mir chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before McFinnigan can pounce on him.
McFinnigan with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from McFinnigan. Mir shrugs it off though.
McFinnigan keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
McFinnigan fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Frank Mir's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Crack! A monster head kick from McFinnigan and Mir falls like a tree - timbeeeeeeeeeeerrrr! A highlight reel knockout by McFinnigan!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Mickey McFinnigan!
