Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Teppo Raju (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Malang Tangaloulango (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Malang Tangaloulango has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Malang Tangaloulango!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Roosa Järviläinen and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Raju throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Tangaloulango's waist but Tangaloulango gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Raju off to one side.

Tangaloulango looks to throw an elbow but misses.

Raju had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Tangaloulango is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Raju Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Tangaloulango's back instead.

Raju seems to be going for a rear naked choke. He has an arm under Tangaloulango's chin but Tangaloulango turns very nicely into Raju's guard. Good BJJ skills being displayed there by Tangaloulango.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Tangaloulango really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Raju. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Raju is breathing heavily.

Raju goes for a risky armbar from back mount and it's not paid off. Tangaloulango escapes and is now in half guard on top.
Raju has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Tangaloulango is working away from the top position though.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Raju is pressing down on Tangaloulango's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Raju has his foot on Tangaloulango's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Tangaloulango works his way back into a safe position though.
Tangaloulango is looking to stand up but Raju won't let him.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Raju is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Tangaloulango is defending well though. Raju let's go of the attempt for now.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Tangaloulango tries to clinch up but Raju circles away and keeps his distance.

and Raju counters with a nice double leg into side control. Tangaloulango won't be happy with that.
Raju postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Raju tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Raju is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Tangaloulango is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Raju creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Tangaloulango sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Raju works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Raju is working Tangaloulango over with some ground and pound from side control.
Raju is working to tighten is grip on Tangaloulango's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Tangaloulango has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Raju is really squeezing tight and eventually Tangaloulango passes out! Raju breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
