The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Chad Campbell and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kikyerass throws a series of punches but Putin moves out of range.
Putin ducks straight into an uppercut from Kikyerass and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Putin manages to regain guard straight away.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Putin tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Kikyerass loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Kikyerass lands a couple of digs.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Kikyerass accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Putin seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Putin trying to keep a closed guard but Kikyerass is proving a slippery customer.

Kikyerass wants to get up but he can't break Putin's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Kikyerass pushes down on Putin's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Kikyerass takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Kikyerass wants to get back to his feet.
Kikyerass lands a big elbow - Putin is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Kikyerass!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Lyle Kikyerass!
Lyle Kikyerass really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Mango Nutrition logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
