Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Paul Mctanned!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
7 - 7 - 1, fighting out of New York, James Kirk!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, John Kavanagh and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kirk throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Mctanned swats away the attempt to clinch by Kirk.
Kirk shoots in but Mctanned avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Mctanned shoots in for a double leg but Kirk sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Kirk shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Kirk doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Mctanned counters with a shoot takedown. Kirk fights it but they end up in guard.
Paul Mctanned has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of James Kirk.
Mctanned stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kirk swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Mctanned works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Mctanned is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Kirk!
Kirk is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Mctanned locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Kirk is forced to tap!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Paul Mctanned!
