Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Chuck Norris!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Frenandez clinches up with Norris and pushes him back against the cage.
Norris stops a takedown attempt from Frenandez.
Frenandez is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.
Norris creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Norris pulls guard effortlessly.
Norris utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Frenandez showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Norris can't keep his opponent in guard - Frenandez advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Frenandez throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Frenandez has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Frenandez lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Norris circles away quickly and effectively.
Norris throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Frenandez shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Norris pinned against the cage. Norris gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Frenandez stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Frenandez wants it to stay on the feet.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Frenandez checks a leg kick.

That was a close second round but I would say that Nick Frenandez will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Chuck Norris has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Nick Frenandez.
Well Frenandez has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
