Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Frankie Edgar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Martin Fannon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Fannon's choice of entrance music: Kill Em All. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Edgar bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Decent striking displayed by Fannon there.

It looks like Frankie Edgar has been cut.
Nice defenses there by Edgar.
Fannon misses with a double jab.
Some wild striking there from Fannon.
Fannon looks to land a right hand but Edgar moved out of range.
Martin Fannon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fannon throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Edgar.
Fannon throws a series of punches but Edgar avoids them all with ease.
Sloppy strikes from Fannon. Those never looked like landing.
Fannon lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Edgar circles away quickly and effectively.
Fannon misses with a double jab.
Nice uppercut lands for Fannon. That snapped Edgar's head back.

Edgar gets the takedown into side control.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Fannon managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Edgar.
Edgar fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Edgar tries to score with some ground and pound. Fannon controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

Edgar lands a nice forearm strike.

Edgar has hold of Fannon's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Fannon seems comfortable defending it but Edgar has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Fannon is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Fannon is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Edgar couldn't care less - he's delighted!
