Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Teotonio Azevedo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Raymond Crowe!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Daniel Franklin and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Azevedo wants to clinch up but Crowe keeps it at a distance.
Left hook, right uppercut from Azevedo.
Crowe swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Crowe circles away from the clinch attempt.
Azevedo moves in looking to clinch but Crowe pushes him off.
Azevedo tries to clinch but Crowe moves out of range.
Azevedo pivots, looking for a leg kick but Crowe is out of range and Azevedo settles back down.
Crowe smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Azevedo tries to close the distance and clinch up but Crowe swats him away and circles back towards the center.
The fight stays on the outside here - Azevedo looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
A punch combination from Azevedo misses.
Crowe walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Crowe throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
enabling Azevedo to counter with a crisp jab.
Azevedo with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Crowe to score with a decent uppercut.
Azevedo is rocked!
Azevedo bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Oh Azevedo is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Crowe swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Crowe throws a right and a left that both miss.
Crowe misses with an uppercut. Azevedo saw that one coming.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Some wild striking there from Crowe.
Raymond Crowe seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Crowe lands with a precision combination! Left, right, uppercut and Azevedo falls flat on his face, eyes wide open but he's out!
