And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

8 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Pico Rodrigo!
The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Jeff Smith and Micheangelo Fripello.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rodrigo lands with a kick to the temple. Garcia shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Rodrigo tries a head kick but it misses.
Garcia shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Rodrigo manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Garcia got a little sloppy there for a moment and Rodrigo has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Garcia has managed to get both his arms back between Rodrigo's legs - danger averted.
Garcia slips nicely into half guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Garcia is trying for a kimura here. Rodrigo looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Garcia wins by kimura!
