Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jyrska Velmu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Richard Nixon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Velmu's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Doctor Doctor by UFO. Nixon has chosen The Upsetters - Dread Lion as his entrance music. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some bone on bone action there as Nixon checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Nixon tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Velmu scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Velmu throws a front kick aimed at Nixon's knee but Nixon avoids it well.

Velmu looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Nixon with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jyrska Velmu.
Well Velmu has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
