Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Keiko Lynn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leif Nygard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nygard is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Dread Zeppelin - Immigrant Song. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Steve Erwin and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nygard cracks the inside of Lynn's front leg.
Lynn tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Lynn avoids the head kick by Nygard.
Nygard throws a head kick that misses.
Nygard smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Nygard avoids the body shot from Lynn.
Lynn takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Nygard throws a shot to the body.
Nygard looks to land a body kick but Lynn moved away.
Lynn moves out of range as Nygard throws a body kick.
Lynn connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Nygard throws a quick inside leg kick.
Nygard dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Lynn. That did some damage!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Nygard thuds his right hand into Lynn's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Nygard throws a leg kick but Lynn sees it coming and moves out of range.
Lynn fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Nygard drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
It looks like Leif Nygard has been cut.
A punch lands to the side of Nygard 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Nygard throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Lynn takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Nygard thows a body shot but no joy.
Nygard looks to land a left hand but Lynn moved out of range nicely.
A nice inside leg kick there by Nygard. That's going to slow Lynn down.
Nygard throws a lazy right hand but Lynn sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Nygard moves out of range as Lynn strikes.

Nygard lands a nice hook to Lynn's body. Lynn takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Nygard moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Lynn gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Nygard.
Nygard misses with a body kick.
Nygard throws a body punch but Lynn moves out of range.

Lynn instigates a clinch.
Lynn lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Nygard or not.

Nygard breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Lynn cracks Nygard with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Nygard tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Lynn pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Nygard is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Keiko Lynn!
