Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Chris Michaels (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Floynny Pacweather Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Michaels might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to All of the Lights. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Taro Takaoka and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pacweather Jr doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Michaels misses with an uppercut.
Pacweather Jr gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Michaels counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Pacweather Jr shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

and Michaels counters with a crisp one two that drops Pacweather Jr! Michaels thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Pacweather Jr to his feet! Pacweather Jr is in big trouble!
Pacweather Jr is rocked!
Chris Michaels has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Floynny Pacweather Jr.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Pacweather Jr shoots in for a takedown but Michaels shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Michaels throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Pacweather Jr's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Michaels dives in looking to finish as Pacweather Jr flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Michaels's strikes! Michaels is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Pacweather Jr's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Pacweather Jr was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Chris Michaels!
