The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davis lands a nice looking body kick.
Nice defenses there by Topolnjak.
Topolnjak's jab looks to have found its range, popping Davis under the eye.
Topolnjak fails with a takedown attempt.
Topolnjak tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Davis paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Davis throws a head kick that misses.
Davis fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Topolnjak avoids it really well and circles away.

Davis has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Topolnjak after a bit of a struggle.

Topolnjak rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Davis moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Topolnjak throws a right hand that Davis ducks under and follows up with a left that Davis also avoids with ease.
Topolnjak feints a jab promting Davis to slip. Topolnjak then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Davis slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Topolnjak throws out a leg kick but Davis moves out of range and Topolnjak only half commits.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Davis takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Davis has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Topolnjak tries to close the distance and clinch up but Davis swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Topolnjak scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Davis is rocked!
Topolnjak fails with a takedown attempt.
Oh Davis is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Topolnjak moves in looking to clinch but Davis pushes him off.
Topolnjak tries to clinch up.
Topolnjak tries a head kick but it misses.
Topolnjak fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Topolnjak moves into the clinch.

Topolnjak breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Topolnjak pounces like a tiger and cracks Davis with a vicious hook! Davis is down but not out! Topolnjak follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
