The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aremis misses the shot to the body.
Davies rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Aremis moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Davies misses the jab.
Davies cracks Aremis with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
It looks like Xantos Aremis has been cut.
The fighters circling - Davies throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Davies tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Aremis connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Nice defenses there by Aremis.
Davies tries to clinch but Aremis is having none of it.
Aremis throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Davies pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Aremis throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Davies tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Aremis paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Aremis fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Davies trying to control the position but instead, Aremis has worked for underhooks and has pushed Davies into the cage.
Davies is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.

With the fighters up against the cage, Davies throws an elbow but misses.
Aremis doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Aremis lands with a left to the head.
Aremis scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Davies lands a nice elbow.
Davies is trying to break the clinch but Aremis is controlling him.
Aremis breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Aremis tried to score with a low kick but Davies checks it.
Aremis takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Davies moves in looking to clinch but Aremis pushes him off.
Aremis loads up on a big right hand but Davies slips the punch.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Aremis throws a quick head kick that knocks Davies silly! This fight is all over! What a finish! Aremis is up on the cage, taking in the applause from the crowd.

A relieved looking Xantos Aremis thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
