And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Aadilou Ankutse!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Lou da Vinci and Columbo Gatti.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good exchange - Jackson coming out on top.

Ankutse closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Ankutse is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Jackson has managed to free his arm - good work.
Ankutse is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard.

The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Mac Jackson.

Jackson scores with the left hand. Ankutse knows he should have avoided that one.
Ankutse shoots in for a takedown but Jackson shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Jackson seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Jackson walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Ankutse drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Jackson swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Ankutse's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
