Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hansi Brekken (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Greig Nisbet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Hansi Brekken! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Greig Nisbet! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, James Glass and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nisbet fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Brekken sprawls well initially but Nisbet persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Brekken tries to roll over but Nisbet keeps him under control. Well, if Nisbet is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Nisbet working over Brekken with some ground and pound. Brekken looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Nisbet stalling. Brekken has his hands clasped together around Nisbet's back. He's all about the action. Nisbet controlling the action here.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Greig Nisbet has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Nisbet shoots in for a double leg but Brekken sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Nisbet gets a clinch. Nisbet escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Brekken tries to close the distance and clinch but Nisbet swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. A shot to the liver by Brekken. Beautiful body shot. Nisbet misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Brekken tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Brekken throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Nisbet sees it coming and avoids it easily. Nisbet throws a leg kick but Brekken moved away. Good standup being displayed there by Brekken as he connects with a hook. Brekken stuffs the takedown attempt from Nisbet. Nisbet gets slowly back to his feet. Hansi Brekken has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Greig Nisbet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Brekken misses with a hook. Nisbet ducked under it nicely. Nisbet scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Brekken tries to kick Nisbet off but Nisbet keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Nisbet gets to his feet - back to striking we go! Nisbet avoids a punch combination nicely.
Brekken displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Nisbet. Brekken closes the distance but Nisbet moves to the side and Nisbet moves into the clinch. Brekken lands with a right to the head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nisbet breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Nisbet staying out of range there. A left lands for Brekken. Brekken misses with a body shot.
Nisbet tries for a takedown but Brekken sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Nisbet looks winded! Brekken looks to clinch and Nisbet counters with a nice double leg into guard. Brekken being controlled here, momentarily. Brekken trying to keep a closed guard but Nisbet is proving a slippery customer.
Nisbet's corner is telling him to maintain position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. This has been an exciting period of action! Brekken wants to stand and escape but Nisbet is having none of it. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Brekken looking for a sweep. Not yet Brekken, not yet.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Greig Nisbet was stalling too much, according to the referee. Nisbet looks for a takedown but Brekken sprawls well. Nisbet fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Brekken, pushing him back against the cage. Brekken scores a nice knee to the body.
Nisbet's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Brekken stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Nisbet changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Brekken tries to avoid it but Nisbet manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Brekken to the ground. Brekken escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Nisbet pushes Brekken up against the cage in a clinch. Brekken looking to slow down the pace here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Greig Nisbet dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Nisbet keeps the fight on the outside. Nisbet moves into range and clinches up with Brekken. Brekken could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Nisbet is looking to take this one to the mat. Brekken keeps control of Nisbet as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Nisbet wants a takedown but no success here.
Brekken misses with a knee strike.
Brekken swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Brekken looks to throw an elbow but misses. Nisbet blocking some punches.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Nisbet as Brekken tries to tie him up. Brekken content to slow the pace in the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nisbet tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Brekken smiles and moves away.
Hansi Brekken has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Greig Nisbet. Nisbet moves into range and clinches up with Brekken. Nisbet looking to stall.
Brekken avoiding damage as Nisbet throws knees to the body.
Nisbet jumps guard but Brekken stands there with Nisbet around his waist. Nisbet gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
A battle for position here, against the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A short left from Brekken. Nisbet breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Brekken closes the distance and pushes Nisbet back into the cage. Brekken tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Nisbet avoids it. Brekken tries to land a knee to the head but Nisbet blocks with his arms.
Nisbet turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Brekken tries to get back to half guard but can't. Brekken is working hard here to advance position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Brekken being controlled for a moment. Brekken tries to control but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad. Nisbet unloading with bombs! Nisbet prevents Brekken from getting the reversal. Brekken tries to lock up and control but Nisbet gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Nisbet tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Brekken has given up his back here. Will Nisbet look for the submission or keep pounding away?
That's four minutes gone in the round. Brekken is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Nisbet gets his way!
Nisbet controlling from the back. Nisbet is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Brekken is defending well though. Nisbet let's go of the attempt for now. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Nisbet landing with strikes. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Greig Nisbet showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Nisbet gets the takedown into side control. Nisbet tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Nisbet has control of an arm but Brekken manages to advance to Nisbet's back! Brekken biding his time, controlling Nisbet. Nisbet rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Nisbet is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Brekken's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Brekken's back! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nisbet controlling well, preventing Brekken from escaping the position.
Nisbet controlling the position well here. Brekken rolled but Nisbet kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.
Nisbet is landing with strikes. Brekken can't take much more of this. Nisbet has good solid back control here. Brekken trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nisbet controls the position. Brekken covers up after taking a massive shot to the side of the head.
Nisbet working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Brekken is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Nisbet has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Brekken taps out!
