Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Austin Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Derek Waters (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Smith comes to the cage accompanied by I´m Shipping Up To Boston - Dropkick Murphys. Waters has chosen Hip Hop as his entrance music. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
20 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Austin Smith!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
13 - 6 - 1, fighting out of New York, Derek Waters!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Skip Squint and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Waters lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Smith at a distance.
Smith rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
letting Waters counter with a right hand.
Smith bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Waters's head backwards.
Smith takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
It looks like Austin Smith has been cut.
A jab from Waters misses.
Waters misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Smith.
Waters moves out of range as Smith strikes.
Waters takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Smith lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Smith lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Waters looks to score with a jab to the body but Smith is just out of range.
Smith rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Waters moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Waters takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Smith ducks right into an uppercut from Waters.
Smith takes a swing at Waters's ribcage but misses.
Waters slips a jab and a cross from Smith.
Waters's jab looks to have found its range, popping Smith under the eye.
Waters lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Smith throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Smith moves out of range as Waters strikes.
Smith throws a poor cross that misses
and Waters counters with a crisp one two that drops Smith! Waters thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Smith to his feet! Smith is in big trouble!
Smith is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Waters cracks Smith with a brutal left hook that knocks him out cold! This one is over in a flash! Game over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Derek Waters!
After winning the bout, Derek Waters thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
