Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Gooby Goober!
The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Steve Montenegro and Bruno Lombardi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Goober circles away quickly and effectively.
Goober uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Johnson.
Johnson misses with a takedown attempt - Goober sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Johnson shoots in looking for a takedown but Goober manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Johnson's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Nice takedown defense from Goober. No joy for Johnson on that attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Carl Johnson. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Johnson scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Goober pushes Johnson off looking to stand but Johnson dives back in and keeps control.
Goober wants to get back to full guard.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Johnson misses with a takedown attempt - Goober sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Goober throws a lazy uppercut

and Johnson counters by moving into the clinch.

Johnson is looking for a triangle but Goober pushes his legs off easily.
Goober trying to control the position from guard on top but Johnson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Johnson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Goober is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Johnson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Johnson is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Goober has his hands clasped together but Johnson extends an breaks Goober's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Johnson.
