Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ricardo Soares (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fernando Alves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Soares comes into the arena with Vida Loka Parte 1 blaring out of the sound system. Alves has chosen Rob Zombie - Scum of the earth as his entrance music. Ricardo Soares has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The judges for this bout are William Peck, Ian Loll and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Soares misses.
Alves feints and then cracks Soares's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Soares down.
Soares on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Alves lands a head kick!
Alves lets loose with a powerful body kick. Soares will feel that in the morning.
A slapping leg kick lands for Alves.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Alves. Soares shrugs it off though.
Alves fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Soares has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Alves lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Alves shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Soares is trying to defend but Alves finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Alves is keen to just control but Soares is a slippery customer.
Alves thows a huge punch but Soares dodges it nicely.
Alves has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Soares wants to hold on but Alves pushes him away.

Alves wants to finish this one by submission but Soares is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Alves.

Alves cracks Soares with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
