Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Iron Chancellor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Xavier Cid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chancellor kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Amon Tobin / El Cargo. The crowd seem to be enjoying Cid's choice of entrance music: There's No Home for You Here. Xavier Cid struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 147.4lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Xavier Cid has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cid scoring well with a low kick there.

Cid throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Chancellor blocks it with crossed arms.
Oh Chancellor is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Chancellor takes an elbow to the forehead.
Chancellor swings wildly with an uppercut but Cid uses good head movement to avoid it.
Cid landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
Cid working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
The fighters are battling for dominant position up against the cage here. Cid manages to get control of his opponent's head and throws a big knee - Chancellor drops to the canvas! He's done! Cid goes wild and celebrates with his corner - this is a big victory for him and to get the win in such devastating fashion will certainly boost his reputation amongst the fans!

A determined Xavier Cid didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
