Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Don Wilson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 11 - 1, fighting out of New York, Takashi Katsumoto!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Dillan Fox and Alec Ball.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wilson throws a big shot that misses.

Wilson throws a right and a left that both miss.
Wilson fails with a takedown attempt.
Wilson throws a looping overhand right but Katsumoto ducks down to avoid it.

The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Wilson checks a leg kick.
Katsumoto misses with a body shot.
Katsumoto is looking to land body kicks.
Wilson bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Katsumoto takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Wilson throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Don Wilson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

A solid leg kick lands there for Katsumoto.
Wilson connects with a looping right hand.

Wilson drops Katsumoto with a left and a right! Oh, Katsumoto is hurt - Wilson dives into side control looking to finish!

It looks like Takashi Katsumoto has been cut.
Katsumoto has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Wilson in side control here. He's dropped a big elbow there and Katsumoto looks hurt! Oh, he is hurt! Wilson turns on the heat and pounds him out for a TKO victory! Good killer instinct there!
