The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Joyce misses with a hook
and Haze decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Joyce's guard.
Haze is pushing down on Joyce's leg trying to pass to half guard. Joyce is fighting to maintain full guard but Haze has managed to sneak the leg through.
Haze passes the guard and advances to mount!
Haze really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Haze has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Joyce is in all sorts of trouble here.

Joyce seems to have recovered his senses.
Haze has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Joyce tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Haze cracks Joyce with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Haze postures up and throws a big right hand. BOOM! Right on the button! Joyce is out cold - huge knockout for Haze!
