The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stevens swinging wildly here.
Iziarry slips a straight right by Stevens.
Stevens works over Iziarry's head and body with a nice combination.
Stevens with a hook.
Iziarry drops his hands momentarily and Stevens takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Iziarry fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Stevens misses with a looping right.
Iziarry shoots in for a takedown but Stevens shows good takedown defense.
A big left from Stevens misses.
Stevens stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Stevens feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Iziarrys jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Stevens jabs Iziarry right on the nose. Iziarry blinks but takes it well.

Iziarry takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Stevens fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Iziarry is trying hard to land a takedown here. Stevens sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Lance Stevens has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kalel Iziarry.
Stevens pounces like a tiger and cracks Iziarry with a vicious hook! Iziarry is down but not out! Stevens follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!

Lance Stevens opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
