Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jean Charles Skarbowsky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Guy Owen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Skarbowsky kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Lux Aeterna. Owen has chosen Red Hot Chili Peppers - Can't Stop as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

12 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jean Charles Skarbowsky!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

11 - 11 - 0, fighting out of London, Guy Owen!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Paul Tew and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Skarbowsky tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Owen manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Owen misses with a left hand
and Skarbowsky counters with a slapping leg kick.
Owen shoots in but no luck this time.
Skarbowsky clinches up with Owen and pushes him back against the cage.
Owen tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Skarbowsky pressing his opponent against the cage.
Skarbowsky breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Owen tries for a takedown but Skarbowsky sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Skarbowsky blocks a head kick by Owen.
Skarbowsky lands with a kick to the temple. Owen shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Owen throws a hook but Skarbowsky blocks it.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Skarbowsky tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Skarbowsky connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Owen misses with a few strikes there.
Owen gets cracked there but stands up to it.
A swing and a miss from Owen.
Owen throws the left hand but Skarbowsky avoids the punch easily.
Skarbowsky moves into the clinch successfully.
Skarbowsky escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Skarbowsky fakes the leg kick and cracks Owen in the body.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Owen.
Skarbowsky blocks a head kick by Owen.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Skarbowsky keeps Owen at a distance using the push kick.
Owen jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Skarbowsky feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Owen's calf.
Owen misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Jean Charles Skarbowsky has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Guy Owen.
Skarbowsky scores with a decent looking hook.

Skarbowsky moves into the clinch.
Owen misses with a knee to the head.

Both fighters circling a little - Skarbowsky finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Skarbowsky dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Owen. That did some damage!
Owen dives in and grabs Skarbowsky's left leg, looking for a takedown. Skarbowsky pushes down on Owen's head and hops out.

Owen is trying desperately to land a takedown but Skarbowsky is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Owen.
Skarbowsky goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

Owen shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Skarbowsky as he jumps to the side.

Guy Owen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Skarbowsky throws a front kick that sends Owen stumbling back into the cage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Skarbowsky lands a big head kick that sends Owen tumbling to the mat! Skarbowsky takes a step backwards and waves Owen back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Owen is still on wobbly legs! Can Skarbowsky finish him?
Owen misses with a left hand
and Skarbowsky counters with a huge overhand right that connects right on the temple, sending him crumpling, face first to the floor! This one is all over! What a knockout!

A relieved looking Jean Charles Skarbowsky thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
