Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sam Sung (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shawn Wexler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wexler comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Go To Sleep - Eminem kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Alec Ball and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sung shoots in and gets a takedown into Wexler's guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Sung drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Sung jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Wexler bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Sung's guard.

Wexler tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Wexler has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Wexler is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wexler is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Sung!
Wexler looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

Sung wants to escape the position.
Wexler has his opponent's back and is working for the choke.
Sung tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!
Wexler is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Sung is surviving well by controlling Wexler's body position as best he can.
The referee warns Sung that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Sung is squirming around, avoiding Wexler's attempts to control the action.
Wexler is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Sung can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Wexler wants to control but Sung is keeping him busy.

Shawn Wexler dominated that round.
That's time! Sung's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Wexler looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Wexler is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Sung's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Sung's back!
The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Wexler's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.

Wexler is persistently looking for the submission but Sung is defending it well.
