Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rocky Balboa II (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cael Sanderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Balboa II comes to the cage accompanied by Youre the best Around. Balboa II has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rocky Balboa II! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cael Sanderson! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Chris Downing and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sanderson swats away the attempt to clinch by Balboa II. Balboa II looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Sanderson just misses with a punch to the body.
Sanderson throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Sanderson misses the shot to the body. Balboa II tries to clinch there but Sanderson circles away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Balboa II tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Sanderson paws at him with a jab and circles away. Sanderson takes the fight into the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sanderson wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Sanderson tries to land knees in the clinch but Balboa II avoids the damage to the body. Sanderson is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Balboa II is keeping busy. Sanderson is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Balboa II can't fight it off and eventually Sanderson manages to take the fight to the floor. Balboa II looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Sanderson accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Sanderson tries to free his leg and advance position but Balboa II is retaining full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sanderson landing some decent shots from guard. Sanderson stands and throws Balboa II's legs to the side, diving into side control. Sanderson landing strikes. Sanderson creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Sanderson is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Balboa II will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Sanderson scores with punches from side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sanderson scoring with punches from side control. Sanderson has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Sanderson lands some shots froms side control. The ground and pound from Sanderson seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Balboa II takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Sanderson creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Balboa II sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Sanderson controls the position. Sanderson advances to full mount. Sanderson is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Balboa II can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Cael Sanderson dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Balboa II closes the distance but Sanderson moves to the side so Sanderson counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Balboa II knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Sanderson on the ground. Sanderson stands and throws Balboa II's legs to the side, diving into side control. Sanderson has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Balboa II! Sanderson has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Balboa II's face.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. The referee warns Balboa II that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sanderson fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Cael Sanderson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Balboa II's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Sanderson throws a body punch but Balboa II moves out of range. Sanderson takes a swing at Balboa II's ribcage but misses. Sanderson is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Balboa II rather than just go for the knockout. Balboa II moves in looking to clinch but Sanderson pushes him off. Balboa II tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Sanderson counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Balboa II keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Sanderson lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Well, if Sanderson is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Balboa II on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Sanderson seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Sanderson trying to control the pace. Sanderson is nestled in close to Balboa II, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Sanderson content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sanderson thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Balboa II's head. Sanderson is taking a breather. Balboa II says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Let's hope that Sanderson has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Sanderson lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Sanderson looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Sanderson lands strikes from half guard. Sanderson thows a huge punch but Balboa II dodges it nicely.
Sanderson not landing any meaningful shots this time. Sanderson is nestled in close to Balboa II, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Rocky Balboa II has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Sanderson is taking a breather. Balboa II says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
And that's the end of the fight! Cael Sanderson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Sanderson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
