Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kyle Carlton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carter Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carlton comes to the cage accompanied by Samael - Baphomets Throne. Johnson has chosen Enter Sandman by Metallica as his entrance music. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

15 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kyle Carlton! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
30 - 11 - 0, fighting out of New York, Carter Johnson! The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Steve Montenegro and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Johnson misses with a straight right. Johnson cracks Carlton with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Johnson tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Johnson misses with a wild body shot. Johnson fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Carlton looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. A decent looking body kick lands there for Johnson. Johnson looks to score with a jab to the body but Carlton is just out of range. Carlton takes one on the chin but seems OK.
It looks like Kyle Carlton has been cut. Carter Johnson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Carlton checks a leg kick. A telegraphed right hand from Johnson misses the target. Carlton takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
That's one minute gone in the round. Johnson connects with a jab. Johnson throws a low kick but it's checked well by Carlton. Carlton throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Johnson counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Johnson shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Carlton pinned against the cage. Carlton gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Johnson misses with a jab to the body
and Carlton counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Johnson thinking. Johnson misses with a hook to the body
letting Carlton counter with a right hand. Johnson tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Carlton swivels and escapes. Kyle Carlton is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. The crowd cheers as Carlton lands an impressive looking overhand right. Johnson doesn't seem phased though. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. A right-left combo lands from Johnson.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Johnson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Johnson moves away from the strike by Carlton. Johnson changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Johnson is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Carlton rather than just go for the knockout. Johnson misses with a hook
and Carlton counters with a low kick, right behind Johnson 's knee. Carlton throws a right hand that misses
and Johnson counters with a lovely shot to the body. Johnson checks the leg kick nicely there.
No joy there for Johnson, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nice defenses there by Johnson. Carlton throws a leg kick but Johnson sees it coming and checks it nicely. Johnson lands a really nice looking cross but Carlton seems unphased.
Johnson takes a swing at Carlton's ribcage but misses. Carlton staying out of range there. Johnson takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Johnson lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Carlton throws a lazy right hand but Johnson sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Johnson pivots, looking for a leg kick but Carlton is out of range and Johnson settles back down.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Carlton jabs Johnson to the body, keeping him at a distance. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Johnson throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Carlton sees it coming and avoids it easily. Nice cross by Johnson. Carlton chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Johnson can pounce on him.
Johnson throws a lazy right hand but Carlton sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. A slapping leg kick lands for Johnson.
Johnson tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Carlton was well out of range. Poor timing from Johnson. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Johnson lands with a cross. Johnson scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Carter Johnson dominated that round. The cut man is working on Kyle Carlton's cut. That's time! Back to the action!
Some wild striking there from Johnson.
Johnson misses the body punch and Carlton connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Johnson throws an overhand right that lands on Carlton's shoulder, as Carlton tries to avoid the shot. Carlton throws a leg kick and Johnson counters with a left and a right that stings Carlton. Carter Johnson seems to be getting the better of the standup. Johnson bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Carlton's head backwards. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Carlton leaves Johnson with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Johnson lands with an uppercut that bounces Carlton off the cage and back into range. Johnson throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Carlton stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jab from Carlton. Carlton keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Johnson works Carlton's body with a nice hook. Nice jab there from Johnson. Johnson misses with a body shot.
Johnson misses with a takedown attempt - Carlton sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Carlton gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Carlton chopping away at his opponent's legs.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Carlton checks a leg kick. Johnson looks to score with a jab to the body but Carlton is just out of range. Johnson swings and misses with a shot to the body and Carlton counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Johnson moves out of range of the leg kick from Carlton. Johnson looks to score with a jab to the body but Carlton is just out of range. Carlton ducks under a wild hook from Johnson. Carlton fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Johnson.

and Carlton counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Carlton might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far. Johnson throws a right and a left that Carlton avoids nicely. Johnson throws a shot from downtown. Carlton moves away and avoids it. Carlton lands a nice hook to Johnson's body. Johnson takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Carlton throws a combination that misses and Johnson counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Johnson waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Carlton. Johnson looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Carlton is fending him off so far but Johnson persists. Nope, Carlton circles away and we're back to standing. Kyle Carlton has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Carter Johnson. Johnson fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Carlton sprawls well initially but Johnson persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Johnson is breathing heavily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Johnson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Carlton keeps working. Carlton gets back to full guard.
Johnson preventing the sweep. Johnson throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Carlton works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Carlton is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Carlton wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Johnson tries to throw a body punch but Carlton avoids it by throwing Johnson back against the cage. Johnson misses with a hook to the ribs.
Carlton tries to circle away but Johnson has him pinned against the cage. Carlton fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Carter Johnson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Kyle Carlton's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Carlton on the wrong end of a nice jab. Johnson moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. That kick from Johnson tenderised Carlton's leg. Carlton is trying to keep his angry face on. Johnson waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Carlton. Johnson is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. A shot to the body from Johnson misses and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Johnson takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Johnson throws a body kick despite being completely out of range and Carlton connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Johnson is keeping his hands low and just asking to be knocked out. Carlton Raises his leg and lands a stunning axe kick! Johnson is out cold, face down on the mat!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:37 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Kyle Carlton! Kyle Carlton retains his heavyweight title! After winning the bout, Kyle Carlton thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
