Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Henkka Reem (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zack Barch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zack Barch told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Chris Saunders and Josh West.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barch gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Barch misses with a body shot.
Barch avoids a punch combination nicely.
Reem misses with an uppercut.
Reem cracks Barch with a good jab.
Reem throws a hook to the side of Barch's head but Barch sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Reem missing with a left hand there. Barch was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Barch is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Reem.
Henkka Reem seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Reem blocks a leg kick.
No joy there for Reem, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Reem misses with a two punch combination.
Reem lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Reem bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Barch is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Reem's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

Reem is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Barch sees it coming and defends easily.
Reem is pressing down on Barch's thigh, looking to free his foot. Barch is holding on for now.

Barch tries to roll over but Reem keeps him under control.
Reem is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Reem thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Barch's head.
