Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sheng Jen Kuo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Swain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Swain's choice of entrance music: The Joker by Steve Miller Band. On his way into the cage it seems that Sheng Jen Kuo has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Sheng Jen Kuo seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kuo connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Swain's hands. Kuo checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Swain takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
A slow jab from Swain misses its intended target. Swain goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Kuo feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Kuo might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Kuo slips nicely into half guard. Kuo not landing any meaningful shots this time. Kuo trying to mount his opponent but Swain defends it. Kuo is thwarting Swain's attempts to control the position. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kuo is looking for a kimura but Swain is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Kuo to get the leverage.
Kuo seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Swain is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Sheng Jen Kuo! Sheng Jen Kuo decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
