The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Donde fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Hatari looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Donde closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Donde breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Donde turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Donde is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Hatari keeps Donde under control for a moment.

Donde has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Donde stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Donde wants it to stay on the feet.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Hatari wants to clinch up but Donde keeps it at a distance.

Donde's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Hatari scores with a hook to the body. Donde takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Hatari lands a left and a right that send Donde crashing to the mat, dazed. Hatari thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Carniero Donde has been cut.

Hatari looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Hatari connects with a nice short shot to Donde's temple.
Donde seems to have recovered his senses.
Hatari is trying to control. Donde wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Hatari wants to get back to his feet.
Hatari passes to side control.
Donde is looking for a sweep.
Donde really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hatari. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Hatari stands up and beckons Donde to his feet.

Donde manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Hatari on his heels. He'll look to pass Hatari's guard now, I'm sure.

OH! Donde has been rocked by a huge right hand and is in deep trouble! Hatari smells blood and charges in for the finish! Hatari unloads a vicious overhand right and connects to the jaw of Donde sending him face first to the canvas! Unbelievable!
