Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ivan Krowtits! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Hannibal King! The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Eddie Farnsworth and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! King scores with a sloppy right hand. Krowtits should have avoided that one. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Krowtits gets caught flat footed, as King shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. King wants to get up but he can't break Krowtits's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Krowtits is looking for a triangle but King pushes his legs off easily.

King is looking to stand up but Krowtits won't let him. King passes Krowtits's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Krowtits looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Krowtits looking for submissions from an awkward position here. King is looking for a kimura but Krowtits is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for King to get the leverage. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Krowtits is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of King's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take King's back! King is trying to get back to his feet but Krowtits has full control of the position and if anything, King has just worked his way into a worse spot. King is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Krowtits gets his way!
King breaks Krowtits's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

King sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Krowtits's guard. Krowtits looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
