Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Joshua Perez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Oleg Olegovich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Perez comes to the cage accompanied by It's Goin Down by T.C.. The key to victory for Joshua Perez has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Oleg Olegovich!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, David Schapiro and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Olegovich shoots in and bounces Perez off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Olegovich stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Perez swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Perez keeping moving, preventing Olegovich from controlling successfully.
Olegovich in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Olegovich works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Perez tries to kick Olegovich off but Olegovich keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Olegovich drops an elbow to the side of Perez's head.
Perez is looking to escape.
Olegovich thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Perez's head.
Ground and pound from Olegovich.
Olegovich is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Perez doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Olegovich.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Olegovich is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Let's hope that Olegovich has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Perez is trying to stand up here but Olegovich is controlling him well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Olegovich seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Olegovich is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Perez defends it well.
Well, if Olegovich is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Olegovich throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Olegovich connects with a nice short shot to Perez's temple.
Perez wants to get back to his feet.

Perez is bucking up trying to escape but Olegovich cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
BOOM! Olegovich connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Perez is rocked!
Olegovich loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Perez scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Olegovich land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Olegovich stands and salutes the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Oleg Olegovich!
