Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between John McGuirk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yannick Ali (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). John McGuirk has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John McGuirk! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Yannick Ali! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Frank Dennis and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McGuirk takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Ali has a takedown stuffed. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Ali. Ali throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around McGuirk's waist but McGuirk gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ali off to one side. John McGuirk has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Yannick Ali. Ali doesn't manage to clinch there - McGuirk circles away.
McGuirk gets a double leg takedown into Ali's guard. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Ali looking to control.
Ali keeping moving, preventing McGuirk from controlling successfully. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. McGuirk missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. McGuirk stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ali swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ali working a defensive guard here.
Yannick Ali has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. McGuirk moves into the clinch. Ali displaying some good clinch control by pressing McGuirk up against the cage. McGuirk gets control of Ali's arms and successfully pulls guard. McGuirk will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Ali trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Ali advances to half guard. McGuirk tries to get to full guard but Ali has control of the leg. Ali stalling.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ali seems to be working for a kimura but McGuirk defends the submission attempt. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. McGuirk wants to improve his position but Ali is controlling well.
McGuirk is refusing to be controlled, as Ali sits in half guard. McGuirk trying to hold on to Ali's head to control him but Ali postures up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ali stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. A punch combination from McGuirk misses. Ali fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Yannick Ali seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. McGuirk keeps the fight on the outside. McGuirk fails to land with a series of punches.
Ali shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says McGuirk as he avoids it easily. McGuirk throws a sloppy head kick and Ali moves out of range easily. Ali takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ali with a lazy takedown attempt so McGuirk counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Ali tries to land a sweep but no joy. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. McGuirk looking to pass the guard. Ali is wriggling around but McGuirk manages to pass to half guard.
McGuirk is keen to just control but Ali is a slippery customer. McGuirk is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Ali doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time McGuirk. Ali is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that John McGuirk will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
McGuirk lands a left and a right that send Ali crashing to the mat, dazed. McGuirk thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Ali is rocked!
It looks like Yannick Ali has been cut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! McGuirk slips a jab and a cross from Ali.
Ali is still on wobbly legs! Can McGuirk finish him? John McGuirk is winning the standup battle so far. Ali is keeping his hands low and just asking to be knocked out. McGuirk Raises his leg and lands a stunning axe kick! Ali is out cold, face down on the mat!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:17 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). John McGuirk!
