The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No joy there for De Visscher, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
De Visscher should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. De Visscher wants to slow down by chopping away at his legs. moves out of range as De Visscher strikes. bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

De Visscher manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Butterbean . That's going to take a lot out of him. De Visscher shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. De Visscher showed some decent athleticism there. is breathing heavily. De Visscher controls the pace of the fight for a moment. looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. working for a triangle but De Visscher defends it easily.

Frank De Visscher dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
tries for a takedown but De Visscher circles away easily and takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. De Visscher throws a chopping leg kick but manages to avoid taking any serious damage. shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and De Visscher makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. De Visscher misses with a takedown attempt and counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in De Visscher's guard now. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. stands and throws De Visscher's legs to the side, diving into side control. working the head and body with strikes. has knee on belly and now moves to full mount!
