Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kosti Lom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nogueira comes to the cage accompanied by Entrance. Lom has chosen Bahh Tee as his entrance music. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nogueira fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Lom throws a body punch but Nogueira moves out of range.
Kosti Lom seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nogueira looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Lom misses with a wild combination.
Nogueira throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Lom tries to sprawl but Nogueira drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Nogueira is nestled in close to Lom, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Nogueira has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Lom is bucking up trying to escape but Nogueira cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Lom stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Lom wants it to stay on the feet.

The fight stays on the outside here - Lom looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Lom's corner calls for a 1-2. Lom obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Nogueira avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Kosti Lom is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Lom tries to clinch up but Nogueira circles away and keeps his distance.

A frustrated look appears on Lom's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Nogueira breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
The fighters circling - Nogueira throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Nogueira stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
The cut above Kosti Lom's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Lom tries to clinch up but Nogueira circles away and keeps his distance.
