Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, William Peck and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marx feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Anderson wants to get back to his feet but Marx is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Marx accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Anderson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Marx. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Marx thows a huge punch but Anderson dodges it nicely.

Marx throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Anderson to regain full guard.
Anderson seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Marx postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Marx is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Marx drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Marx jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Marx loads up with a big shot that hurts Anderson! He's pulled Marx in close but Marx has postured up and lands more strikes. Can Anderson survive? More strikes from Marx and Anderson is out! The ref jumps in to save him! Brutal ground and pound!
