Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Emelianenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Junior Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ivan Emelianenko! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Junior Santos! The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Saam Ante and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A big right from Emelianenko misses. A cross from Santos lands. Emelianenko fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Santos avoids it really well and circles away. Santos stuffs the takedown attempt from Emelianenko. Emelianenko gets slowly back to his feet. Santos moves out of range as Emelianenko strikes. Santos throws a nice looking combination but Emelianenko bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Santos misses with a leg kick. Emelianenko with a lazy takedown attempt and Santos counters with a lovely shot to the body. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ivan Emelianenko. That's going to take a lot out of him. Emelianenko tries to clinch there but Santos circles away.

That's one minute gone in the round. Emelianenko tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Santos stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
It looks like Ivan Emelianenko has been cut. Emelianenko walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Santos scores with a jab to the jaw. Emelianenko gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Santos counters with a straight right hand. Emelianenko with a poor takedown and Santos cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Emelianenko is breathing heavily. Emelianenko misses with a takedown attempt and Santos counters by clinching up. Santos can't break the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Santos breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Santos stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Santos wants it to stay on the feet. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Santos closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Santos looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Santos staying calm. Santos thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Santos is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Emelianenko is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Santos decides to take the fight back to the feet. Santos tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Santos jabs Emelianenko to the body, keeping him at a distance. Santos misses with a series of wild punches.
Emelianenko moves into range and clinches up with Santos.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Emelianenko drags the fight down to the ground.
Santos wants to control from the top but Emelianenko keeps moving. Santos is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Emelianenko throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Emelianenko seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Junior Santos dominated that round. The cut man is working on Ivan Emelianenko's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Emelianenko wants to take a breather but Santos is having none of it. Santos regains full guard. Nicely done. Emelianenko trying to control but Santos is working from the bottom. Santos wants to stand up but Emelianenko is controlling him. Emelianenko not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Ivan Emelianenko just wasn't active enough. No luck with that takedown attempt from Emelianenko. Emelianenko closes this distance looking for a takedown but Santos circles away. Ivan Emelianenko is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Emelianenko tries to score a power double leg takedown but Santos sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Emelianenko somewhat. Emelianenko fails with the takedown. Santos misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Santos swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Emelianenko. Emelianenko misses with a takedown attempt - Santos sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Emelianenko will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Santos clobbers Emelianenko with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Emelianenko takes a shot right to the bread basket. Emelianenko changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Santos tries to avoid it but Emelianenko manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Santos to the ground. Santos escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. A right-left combo lands from Santos. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Junior Santos will probably get the nod - 10:9. The cut man is working on Ivan Emelianenko's cut. That's time! Back to the action! And we move into the final round!

Emelianenko nods at Santos to acknowledge the strikes. Santos connects with the punch. Santos forces Emelianenko back against the cage and clinches. Emelianenko jumps guard.
Santos must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Emelianenko looking for subs off his back but Santos has passed one foot through into half guard.

Santos is just content to waste time from the top position. Emelianenko takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Ivan Emelianenko has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Santos has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Emelianenko is proving hard to escape from. Santos trying to move into half guard but instead Emelianenko has managed to sweep! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Emelianenko showing good wrestling skills to control the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Emelianenko forces his way into half guard. Emelianenko seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Santos is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
