Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jay East (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anttoni Maerkaenen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jay East! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Anttoni Maerkaenen! The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Ben Zyskovitsi and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! East has taken the fight to the clinch.
East breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Maerkaenen gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily so East counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Maerkaenen looking to hit a scissor sweep but East is one step ahead there. Maerkaenen working for submissions but it's allowed East to get to half guard.
East slows the pace down in half guard. Maerkaenen is in trouble now - East has advanced to mount!
That's one minute gone in the round. East controlling from mount. East scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Maerkaenen?
East content just to control the position here. East lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round. East looking to control and managing it successfully. Maerkaenen really doesn't want to stay on the ground with East. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. East landing strikes from the mount and Maerkaenen is in trouble! Maerkaenen is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Maerkaenen is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Maerkaenen looks winded! Maerkaenen is wriggling around trying to escape.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Maerkaenen tries to improve his position but East has taken his back! East has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Maerkaenen tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! East pushes Maerkaenen away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
