Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ohna Nicko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Abdo Abdelrhman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Tiny Johnson and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Abdelrhman throws a right and a left that Nicko avoids nicely.
Nicko displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Abdelrhman.

and Nicko counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Nicko.
Nicko has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Nicko shoots for a double leg takedown but Abdelrhman sprawls well. He's pushed Nicko's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Nicko is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.

Nicko knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Abdelrhman on the ground.
Abdelrhman is stalling in the full guard.

Nicko really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Abdelrhman is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Nicko wants to stand but Abdelrhman is controlling the position.
Nicko will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Abdelrhman has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Abdelrhman shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Nicko feints and as Abdelrhman raises his hands in defense, Nicko changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Abdelrhman is adopting a defensive guard.
Nicko got a little sloppy there for a moment and Abdelrhman has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Nicko has managed to get both his arms back between Abdelrhman's legs - danger averted.
Nicko tries to free his leg and advance position but Abdelrhman is retaining full guard.

Nicko is fighting to break Abdelrhman's control of his arms but Abdelrhman is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Nicko would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Abdelrhman is looking to stand up but Nicko isn't so interested in that idea.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Abdelrhman lands a decent punch to the body there.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Abdelrhman can do anything to dispel that myth.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Nicko prevents Abdelrhman from getting back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Abdo Abdelrhman dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Nicko shoots in but no luck this time.
Horrible takedown by Abdelrhman or perhaps it was just good defense by Nicko which made him look bad.
A big right from Abdelrhman misses.
Nicko misses with a wild combination.
Nicko shoots in looking for a takedown. Abdelrhman tries to sprawl out of it but Nicko keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Abdelrhman manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Nicko shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Abdelrhman as he avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ohna Nicko. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Nicko shoots in looking for a takedown but Abdelrhman manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Nicko's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Abdelrhman gets the takedown into side control.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Nicko tries to bench press Abdelrhman off him but Abdelrhman keeps the position.

Abdelrhman has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Nicko is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Abdelrhman yanks on the arm and Nicko is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Abdelrhman.
