Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lowieke De Vos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Simon Adebisi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). De Vos's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Hatsjikidee. Adebisi is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Go Go Adebisi. Simon Adebisi is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 26 - 14 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Simon Adebisi!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Adebisi tries to move into range but De Vos moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from De Vos, right into the meat.
De Vos attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Adebisi fakes high and swings low for a body shot but De Vos manages to avoid it.
Adebisi slips a straight right by De Vos.
De Vos keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
De Vos connects with an inside leg kick.
Adebisi blocks a leg kick.
De Vos throws a sloppy head kick and Adebisi moves out of range easily.
De Vos avoids a punch combination nicely.
Adebisi throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Adebisi fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
De Vos takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Adebisi walks into a stiff left hand from De Vos.
Lowieke De Vos is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
De Vos wants to land a leg kick but Adebisi is out of range.
De Vos throws a head kick that misses.
Adebisi tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but De Vos was well out of range. Poor timing from Adebisi.
De Vos scores with a sloppy right hand. Adebisi should have avoided that one.
Adebisi misses the jab.

Nice uppercut lands for Adebisi. That snapped De Vos's head back.
Adebisi throws a hook but De Vos avoids it easily.
Adebisi takes a swing at De Vos's ribcage but misses.
De Vos misses with an attempted mid kick.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by De Vos.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Adebisi fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. De Vos sprawls well initially but Adebisi persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
De Vos moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Adebisi accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Adebisi throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as De Vos works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
De Vos keeping moving, preventing Adebisi from controlling successfully.

De Vos not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Adebisi working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Adebisi postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! De Vos is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Adebisi, into his guard.
Adebisi wants to sweep but no luck.
De Vos stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Adebisi swivels though and keeps the full guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Adebisi is looking for a triangle but De Vos pushes his legs off easily.
Adebisi controlling De Vos's posture.
Adebisi looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Adebisi has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
De Vos wants to control from the top but Adebisi keeps moving.
Adebisi tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Adebisi is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

De Vos avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

That was a close round but I would say that Lowieke De Vos will probably get the nod.

De Vos walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

De Vos tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
De Vos dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
A punch lands to the side of Adebisi 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Adebisi clobbers De Vos with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Adebisi changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. De Vos tries to avoid it but Adebisi manages to keep hold of a leg and drag De Vos to the ground. De Vos escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
De Vos displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Adebisi.
De Vos connects with a solid leg kick.

Adebisi cracks De Vos with a good jab.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Excellent takedown into side control there by Adebisi.
De Vos is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Adebisi thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Adebisi tries for a kimura but De Vos is defending well.

De Vos wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!

Adebisi tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Adebisi has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Both fighters circling a little - De Vos finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Adebisi misses with a body shot.
A chopping leg kick lands by De Vos.
Adebisi takes one on the chin but seems OK.

De Vos blocks a jab.
Adebisi tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but De Vos was well out of range. Poor timing from Adebisi.
Adebisi shoots in for a takedown but De Vos shows good takedown defense.
De Vos connects with a jab.
De Vos moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Adebisi takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
De Vos falls off balance throwing a combination

and Adebisi counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
De Vos looking to hit a scissor sweep but Adebisi is one step ahead there.

We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Adebisi passes De Vos's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
De Vos looks like he's trying to stand up.
Adebisi is stalling here. De Vos is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Adebisi seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and De Vos has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

I would just about give that final round to Simon Adebisi.
I think Adebisi has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
