Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
15 - 10 - 1, fighting out of New York, Migeal Quintes! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jackson Sanders! The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Eddie Farnsworth and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Quintes clinches. Sanders wants to stall.
Quintes jumps guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Sanders throws an elbow that misses. Quintes uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Sanders's guard. Nice move by Quintes! Quintes decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Sanders tries to clinch there but Quintes circles away.

Sanders tries to clinch up but Quintes circles away and keeps his distance. Quintes swats away the attempt to clinch by Sanders. Jackson Sanders seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's one minute gone in the round. Quintes clinches up against the cage. Quintes breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Sanders gets a double leg takedown into Quintes's guard. Quintes controlling Sanders's posture. Sanders wants to control from the top but Quintes keeps moving. Sanders loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Sanders is fighting to break Quintes's control of his arms but Quintes is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Sanders postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Sanders throws a big elbow that misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Quintes keeping moving, preventing Sanders from controlling successfully. Sanders with a flurry of punches that miss. Quintes is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Quintes avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! A left lands for Quintes. Sanders moves to clinch but Quintes breaks away and Sanders takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
It looks like Jackson Sanders has been cut. Quintes throws a series of punches but Sanders moves out of range. Sanders tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Quintes paws at him with a jab and circles away. Quintes moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Sanders gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Quintes content to stall in guard here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Quintes preventing the sweep. Quintes looking to control the position here, rather than advance. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Migeal Quintes. Quintes lands a jab and follows it up with a massive straight that knocks Sanders out cold! Sanders is crumpled in the corner, his head only propped up by the cage! That's one for the organiziational promos right there! Wow, what a finish!
