Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Nick Terry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Genma Tensai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Terry comes to the cage accompanied by Roam by The Story So Far. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Nick Terry! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Genma Tensai! The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Yuuki Gou and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice cross by Tensai. Tensai lands with an overhand left. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Terry is defended easily by Tensai. Tensai throws a hook but Terry blocks it. Tensai lands a lovely overhand right. Terry shoots in for a double leg but Tensai sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Terry on the wrong end of a nice jab. Terry walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Tensai pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Terry back to the cage. Tensai follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
It looks like Nick Terry has been cut. Tensai connects with a jab. Tensai throws a lazy right hand but Terry sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Tensai lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Terry tries to score a power double leg takedown but Tensai sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Terry somewhat. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nick Terry. That's going to take a lot out of him. Tensai looks to land a left hand but Terry moved out of range nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tensai shoots in for a takedown but Terry shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Tensai pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Terry back to the cage. Tensai follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Terry ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Terry fails with a takedown attempt. Tensai throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. A telegraphed right hand from Tensai misses the target. Tensai scores with a nice strike. Terry fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Tensai might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Tensai throws a head kick but Terry moves out of range.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tensai has taken the fight to the clinch.
Tensai escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Terry gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Genma Tensai seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Terry shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Tensai sprawls well. Tensai wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Terry gets slowly back to his feet. A bone on bone clash there as Terry blocks the leg kick.
Terry moves out of range of the leg kick from Tensai. No luck for Terry with that takedown attempt. Terry takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Tensai slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Tensai moves into range and clinches up with Terry.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tensai is looking to take this one to the mat. Tensai is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Tensai has had enough of the clinch but Terry keeps him there for the moment. Tensai struggles to land a body shot inside as Terry controls his hands.
Tensai tries to break free but Terry pushes him back against the cage. Tensai is trying to break free. Terry prevents Tensai from breaking the clinch. Tensai tries to break the clinch but Terry is controlling the position. Tensai has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Tensai wants to get back to striking at distance but Terry won't allow it.
Tensai is fighting off a takedown attempt but Terry is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Tensai to the mat. Tensai regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Tensai looking to hit a scissor sweep but Terry is one step ahead there. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Terry trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Tensai wants to stand and escape but Terry is having none of it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Tensai can't keep his opponent in guard - Terry advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Tensai actively working from the bottom here. Terry passes the guard and advances to mount! Terry unloading with bombs! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Tensai wants to control but Terry is having none of it. Terry tries to control but Tensai wriggling away. Terry unloading with bombs! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Tensai is trying to get back to his feet but can't. Terry looking to control and managing it successfully. Tensai really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Terry. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Tensai is trying to escape the mount.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Genma Tensai dominated that round. The cut man is working on Nick Terry's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Tensai changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Tensai throws a sloppy head kick and Terry moves out of range easily. Tensai closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. A frustrated look appears on Tensai's face as he tries to break the clinch. Tensai is looking to break free of the clinch but Terry has double underhooks. Tensai can't break the clinch.
Tensai wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Terry has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Tensai avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Tensai wants to break free but Terry has control.
Tensai wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Terry has him pressed against the cage. Terry blocks an elbow strike. Tensai can't break the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tensai is pressed up against the cage. Terry has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Tensai down to the mat. Tensai avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Tensai. Terry manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Tensai on his heels. He'll look to pass Tensai's guard now, I'm sure. Terry has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Tensai wants to stand up but Terry is controlling him. Terry might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Terry postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Terry lands a couple of decent looking shots. Terry pushes down on Tensai's leg and manages to get into half guard. Terry is keen to just control but Tensai is a slippery customer. Terry passes to full mount! Terry with the ground and pound from mount. Terry unloading with bombs! This has been an exciting period of action! Terry scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Tensai is in all sorts of trouble here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tensai is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Terry cracks Tensai with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Terry has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Tensai's face.
Terry landing punches. Terry putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Terry landing shots from mount. Terry controlling from mount. Tensai wants to get back to his feet.
Terry lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Nick Terry overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Terry is landing with some decent strikes but Tensai is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. The referee warns Tensai that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Tensai is rocked!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Terry is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Tensai is surviving well by controlling Terry's body position as best he can. Tensai is still in real trouble! Can Terry finish him? Terry landing strikes from the mount. Tensai tries to hold on but Terry postures up. Tensai seems to have recovered his senses. Terry looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
BOOM! Terry connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Tensai is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Terry trying to control but Tensai is having none of it. Terry punishing his opponent with strikes. Tensai is looking to improve his position but Terry isn't that keen on the idea. Terry tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Terry dominating with strikes here. Terry landing punches. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Tensai can do anything to dispel that myth. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Terry looking to control but Tensai is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Terry controlling the position easily from mount. Tensai is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Terry lands with some strikes. The referee warns Tensai that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Terry cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Nick Terry dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Nick Terry's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Tensai tries to sprawl but Terry drives through with a takedown into half guard. Tensai is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Terry pulls his head out easily. Terry lands strikes from half guard. Tensai wants to get back to full guard. Terry is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Tensai! Terry lands a big elbow. Terry lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Tensai hang on? Terry connects with a bit shot that sees Tensai covering up! More strikes from Terry and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Terry is our winner by TKO!
