Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Stuart Redman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rick Ruent (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Redman comes to the cage accompanied by ZZ Top - I'm Bad, I'm Nationwide,. Rick Ruent acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ruent lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Redman circles away quickly and effectively.
Redman throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
It looks like Rick Ruent has been cut.
Redman moves in looking to clinch but Ruent pushes him off.
Ruent swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Redman shoots in and drives through. Ruent sprawls well.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
