The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morgan chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Pontes has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Morgan finds it's way round the side to connect with Pontes's head.
Morgan throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Pontes.
Morgan lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Morgan looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Morgan lands with an uppercut that bounces Pontes off the cage and back into range.
Pontes shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Morgan sprawls well. Morgan wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Pontes gets slowly back to his feet.
Pontes slips a jab and a cross from Morgan.
Morgan misses with a body shot.
Morgan misses with a low kick.
Morgan throws a leg kick but Pontes sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Pontes shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Morgan as he jumps to the side.

Pontes looks for a takedown but Morgan sprawls well.

Morgan drops Pontes with a beautiful combination! Pontes stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Morgan is looking for the KO!

It looks like Diogo Pontes has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Morgan throws a nice looking combination but Pontes bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Pontes shoots in for a takedown but Morgan shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Morgan throws a hook to the side of Pontes's head but Pontes sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Nice body kick from Morgan.
Pontes is breathing heavily.
Morgan loads up on a big right hand but Pontes slips the punch.
An inside leg kick lands from Morgan.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Pontes. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Pontes takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Morgan.
Morgan lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.

Morgan fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Morgan scores with a sloppy right hand. Pontes should have avoided that one.
BOOM! Morgan lands a beautiful left hook that drops Pontes. Pontes tries to recover but Morgan is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Pontes lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
