Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mirko Hipfl (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pelle Larsson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Larsson wants to clinch up but Hipfl keeps it at a distance.

Hipfl shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Hipfl is trying to work for a kimura but Larsson is defending well.

Hipfl is working for a kimura from half guard. He's really concentrating on the hold and it's allowed Larsson to slip a leg under and get back to full guard.

Hipfl drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Hipfl jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Hipfl is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Hipfl is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Larsson doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Hipfl.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Hipfl is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hipfl wants to pass the guard but Larsson is defending well.

Larsson is trying to maintain a safe position but Hipfl gets an underhook and turns Larsson into the cage.
Hipfl has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Larsson avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Larsson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Hipfl has picked Larsson up - he's going for a ride! Hipfl dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Larsson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hipfl. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Hipfl is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Larsson is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
