Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Steve Strongbow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Larry Lure (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Steve Strongbow!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Larry Lure!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Roosa Järviläinen and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A shot to the liver by Lure. Beautiful body shot.
Lure clinches up against the cage.
Lure has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Strongbow after a bit of a struggle.
Strongbow unloads a knee to the mid-section. Lure lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
Lure breaks the clinch.
Strongbow tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Lure should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Lure shoots in and gets a takedown into Strongbow's guard.
Strongbow looking to hit a scissor sweep but Lure is one step ahead there.
Lure is stalling in the full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Strongbow is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Strongbow can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Lure controls the pace.
Lure trying to control the position from guard on top but Strongbow is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Larry Lure.
Lure misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Lure throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Strongbow was covering up waiting for the punch and Lure finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Strongbow looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Strongbow uses the cage to get back to his feet.

Strongbow lands with a slapping head kick.
It looks like Larry Lure has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Sloppy strikes from Strongbow. Those never looked like landing.
Strongbow tries to score a power double leg takedown but Lure sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Strongbow somewhat.
Lure changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Strongbow looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Strongbow is looking for a sweep.
Strongbow is breathing heavily.
Lure stands up and beckons Strongbow to his feet.
Lure has Strongbow up against the cage in a clinch.

Strongbow misses with a hook to the ribs.
Strongbow is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Lure can't fight it off and eventually Strongbow manages to take the fight to the floor. Lure looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Lure is trying to control the position but Strongbow postures up.
Lure looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Strongbow gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Strongbow with a lazy takedown attempt
and Lure counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Strongbow wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Strongbow tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Strongbow is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Lure controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Strongbow gets caught flat footed, as Lure shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Lure with a nice head shot there.
Strongbow looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Lure passes into half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Larry Lure dominated that round.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Lure changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Lure avoids the head kick by Strongbow.
Lure changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Strongbow tries to avoid it but Lure manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Strongbow to the ground. Strongbow escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Strongbow shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Strongbow showed some decent athleticism there.
Lure wants to control but Strongbow is keeping busy.
Lure tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Strongbow has advanced to mount. Uh oh.
Lure is breathing heavily.

Lure tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Lure tries to lock up and control but Strongbow gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Strongbow scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Strongbow connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Strongbow looking to secure an arm triangle but Lure defends it well.
Strongbow manages to capitalize on a mistake by Lure to take his back!

Lure breaks Strongbow's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Strongbow is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Larry Lure has got the better of the ground game so far.
Strongbow is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Lure prevents Strongbow from getting back to his feet.
Lure postures up.
Lure wants to control from the top but Strongbow keeps moving.

Lure tries to free his leg and advance position but Strongbow is retaining full guard.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Lure misses with a takedown attempt
and Strongbow counters with a takedown into side control.
Strongbow lands an elbow.
Strongbow stands up and beckons Lure to his feet.
Strongbow throws a head kick that half lands.
Strongbow shoots in looking for a takedown. Lure tries to sprawl out of it but Strongbow keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Lure manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Lure shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Strongbow as he jumps to the side.
Steve Strongbow has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Larry Lure.

This has been an exciting period of action!
The fight stays on the outside here - Strongbow looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Lure clinches with his opponent.
Strongbow goes for a takedown attempt but Lure pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Strongbow shoots in for a takedown but Lure shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
An inside leg kick lands from Lure.
Steve Strongbow is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Lure has Strongbow up against the cage in a clinch.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. And we move into the final round!
Strongbow moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Strongbow tries to clinch but Lure moves out of range.
Lure checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Strongbow circles away from the clinch attempt.
Lure fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Lure dips to his left and cracks Strongbow with an uppercut!

Strongbow tries to close the distance and clinch up but Lure swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Lure shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Strongbow counters with a two punch combo.
Steve Strongbow has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Larry Lure.
Lure takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Strongbow tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Lure swivels and escapes.
Lure tries to clinch up
and Strongbow counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Lure preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Lure wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Strongbow is now in half guard.
Strongbow lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Strongbow wants to lay and pray for a moment but Lure keeps working.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Strongbow is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Lure defends it well.
Strongbow sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Lure defending well though.
Strongbow wants to take a breather but Lure is having none of it.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Strongbow will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Strongbow lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Lure tries to hold on but Strongbow postures up.
Lure is working to get back to half guard.
Strongbow tries to control but Lure wriggling away.
Strongbow breaks from Lure's wrist control and lands an elbow.

Strongbow lands with some strikes.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Lure is in all sorts of trouble here.
