Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mara Sahtivaari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kwame Fosu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Mara Sahtivaari! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Kwame Fosu! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, James Ackerman and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sahtivaari shoots in for a takedown but Fosu shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Sahtivaari gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Fosu counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Sahtivaari's guard now. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Fosu wants to control from the top but Sahtivaari keeps moving. Sahtivaari working for a triangle but Fosu defends it easily.
Fosu wants to stand but Sahtivaari is controlling his posture from full guard. Sahtivaari will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Fosu trying to control the position from guard on top but Sahtivaari is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Fosu with a flurry of punches that miss. Sahtivaari trying to keep a closed guard but Fosu is proving a slippery customer.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sahtivaari working for submissions but it's allowed Fosu to get to half guard.
Fosu wants to work for an arm triangle but Sahtivaari is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Sahtivaari looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Sahtivaari looking for submissions off his back. Sahtivaari is trying to stand back up but Fosu is controlling him
Fosu wants to take a breather but Sahtivaari is having none of it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sahtivaari gets full guard. Sahtivaari manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Fosu can do anything to dispel that myth. Fosu regains half guard. Sahtivaari stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. Sahtivaari tries for a takedown but Fosu circles away easily and Fosu counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Sahtivaari's guard now. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mara Sahtivaari. That's going to take a lot out of him. Sahtivaari is breathing heavily. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Fosu looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Sahtivaari bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Fosu's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sahtivaari won't allow Fosu to sweep him here. Fosu being controlled here, momentarily. Sahtivaari makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Fosu wants to sweep here but Sahtivaari controlling him for the moment. Sahtivaari is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sahtivaari seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Fosu for as long as he can get away with.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Mara Sahtivaari. Fosu fails with a takedown attempt. Sahtivaari scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Sahtivaari has an Americana. Fosu didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Sahtivaari is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Sahtivaari hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
