Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Maximo Katakutan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chad Micheals (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Maximo Katakutan has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Chad Micheals seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Micheals shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Micheals showed some decent athleticism there.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Katakutan is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Micheals's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Micheals's back!
