Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andre Azh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Miklo Velka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Azh comes to the cage accompanied by Manu Militari - Voix De Fait. Velka has chosen Cypress Hill - Insane In The Membrane as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
21 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Andre Azh!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

22 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Miklo Velka!
The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Alexandre Firmino and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Azh tries to work over Velka's front leg with a kick but Velka checks it.
Velka thumps Azh with a low kick.
Azh ducks right into an uppercut from Velka.
Velka tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Azh paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Azh throws a good cross that connects.
Velka connects with a high kick.
Azh rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Velka counters with a leg kick.
Velka tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Azh manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Azh moves away from the strike by Velka.
Azh takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Azh avoids the head kick by Velka.
Velka tries to clinch there but Azh circles away.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Velka landing some nice looking knees to the body.
Velka scores with a nice hook to the head.
Velka using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Azh has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Azh is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Velka is keeping busy.
Velka throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Azh blocks it with crossed arms.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Velka.

Azh misses with a hook from the clinch.
Velka lands an elbow just above Azh 's eye.
Velka is pressed up against the cage. Azh has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Velka down to the mat. Velka avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Velka moves out of range of the strikes.
Velka lands a nice looking kick to the body. Azh takes a step back to recover.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Velka, as that shot connected.
Velka defending well as Azh loads up on a big left hand.
Velka cracks the inside of Azh's front leg.
Azh shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Velka moves out of range as Azh strikes.
Velka stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Nice jab there from Velka.
Azh closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Velka to the mat! Velka manages to get full guard.
Azh stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Velka swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Velka is looking to stand up but Azh isn't so interested in that idea.
Azh pushes down on Velka's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Azh wants to pass to mount but Velka is defending the position.
Azh thows a huge punch but Velka dodges it nicely.

Azh uses his free foot to push down on Velka's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Velka.
Azh looking to land elbow strikes but Velka uses the position to regain half guard.
Azh wants to pass to mount but Velka is defending the position.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Azh trying to control from Velka's half guard. Velka has other ideas though and has regained full guard.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Azh is looking to pass into half guard but Velka pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Velka is in guard.

Velka misses with a hook. Azh ducked under it nicely.
Velka fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Azh has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Azh will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Azh closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Velka did well to prevent Azh getting side control.
Azh is looking to take a break and control but Velka is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Velka works his way to full guard. Good work.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Azh is looking to pass into half guard but Velka pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Velka is in guard.

Velka wants to pass the guard but Azh is keeping the position.
Velka wants to control from the top but Azh keeps moving.
Azh wants to hit a switch here but Velka passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Azh there!
Azh is looking to improve his position but Velka isn't that keen on the idea.

Velka can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Azh is looking to escape.
Velka might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Azh kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Azh tries to lock up and control but Velka gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

That was a close second round but I would say that Andre Azh will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. And we move into the final round!

Azh jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Velka walks away with a smile on his face. Azh gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Velka lands a big head kick that sends Azh tumbling to the mat! Velka takes a step backwards and waves Azh back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Azh is rocked!
Azh takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Oh Azh is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Azh throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Azh seems to have got his legs back now.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Velka, right into the meat.
Velka scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Velka avoids the body shot from Azh.
Velka tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Azh drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Velka pulls Azh in close to prevent any damage.

Velka is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Azh is controlling him.

Velka digs a good body shot into Azh's ribs.
Velka moves in looking to clinch but Azh pushes him off.
Velka tries a head kick but it misses.
Velka tries to close the distance and clinch but Azh swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Azh uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Velka feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Azhs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Velka scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Velka works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Velka.
Azh takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Velka looks to land a combination. Azh sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Velka wants to clinch up but Azh keeps it at a distance.
And that's the end of the fight!
Miklo Velka comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Velka has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
