Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Marcus Payne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommy Cottero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Payne comes to the cage accompanied by French Montana - Ocho Cinco. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Tommy Cottero was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Daniel Bishop and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A left lands for Payne.
Cottero moves out of range as Payne strikes.
Payne throws a lazy uppercut
and Cottero counters with a flying knee. Nice.
A good leg kick by Cottero.
Marcus Payne seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Payne uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Cottero.
Payne throws a leg kick but Cottero moved away.

Cottero swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Payne takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Payne tries for a takedown but Cottero sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Cottero fails to land with a series of punches.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Cottero. Payne shrugs it off though.
Payne misses with a looping left.
Cottero dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Cottero thows a body kick. Payne tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Cottero slips under a jab from Payne.
Cottero slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Cottero throws a nice inside leg kick.
Cottero connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Payne misses with a leg kick
and Cottero counters with a right hand to the body.
Tommy Cottero is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Payne will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Payne walks forward, straight into a front kick from Cottero.
Cottero moves out of range of the strikes.
Payne misses with a double jab.
Payne steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Cottero. That one must have hurt.
Payne is breathing heavily.
Cottero looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.

It looks like Marcus Payne has been cut.

Oh Payne is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Cottero drops Payne with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Payne! Cottero dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
