Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Calypso (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Peterwhacker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Calypso kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Jedi Mind Tricks - Genghis Khan . Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

31 - 15 - 1, fighting out of London, Michael Peterwhacker! The judges for this bout are James Glass, Donald Grub and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Left hook, right uppercut from Peterwhacker. Calypso circles away from the clinch attempt.
Peterwhacker throws a nice inside leg kick. Michael Peterwhacker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Calypso bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Calypso will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Calypso throws a strike aimed at the side of Peterwhacker's head but Peterwhacker avoids it well. Peterwhacker pushes Calypso away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Calypso gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Peterwhacker is trying to get back to half guard. Calypso trying to control the position but Peterwhacker is working away. Calypso working the head with strikes. Calypso has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Peterwhacker wants to get back to his feet but Calypso drags him back down. Calypso postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Calypso looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Peterwhacker is avoiding damage well.

That's one minute gone in the round. Calypso scoring with punches from side control. Peterwhacker is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Calypso has just dragged him back down to the mat. Peterwhacker dodges the ground and pound from Calypso. Calypso scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Peterwhacker to see if he's OK. Calypso misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Calypso in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. Calypso wants to control but Peterwhacker is keeping him busy. Calypso grinds an elbow into Peterwhacker's temple. This has been an exciting period of action! Calypso misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Peterwhacker taking a bit of punishment here - Calypso scoring with strikes. Calypso looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Peterwhacker managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Calypso.
Calypso lands some shots froms side control. Peterwhacker is looking to regain half guard here but Calypso keeps moving and retains side control. Calypso tries to advance to mount but can't. Calypso is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Peterwhacker has escaped the position, nice work there. Sloppy strikes there by Calypso.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Calypso tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Calypso advances to full mount. Calypso lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Calypso scoring with strikes but Peterwhacker is staying in there. Calypso is landing with some decent strikes but Peterwhacker is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Calypso can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Peterwhacker is looking to escape. A nice elbow there by Calypso. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Calypso looking to finish Peterwhacker with some ground and pound. This is bad for Peterwhacker!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Calypso cracks Peterwhacker with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Peterwhacker wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Calypso.
